INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF MICROSOFT CHANNEL PARTNERS (IAMCP)

OVERVIEW

The International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP) is a professional non-profit association of Microsoft partners dedicated to helping companies and individuals in the Microsoft ecosystem to broaden their base of business opportunities through partnering with other IAMCP members – both within their own communities and around the world.

IAMCP Mission

The IAMCP mission is to maximize the business potential of members through peer-to-peer interaction, member advocacy, community outreach, growth and education—while enhancing members’ ties to Microsoft.

Organization and scope

IAMCP is the only independent Microsoft partner organization that exists worldwide. IAMCP has about 1800 member companies globally. These companies can have one or multiple active individuals. Our individual members total 2900. Geographically the IAMCP covers the Americas, EMEA and Asia pacific.
The IAMCP is organised in local chapters with their own boards. There is also a time zone board per time zone (Americas, EMEA and APAC) and a global management board.

IAMCP Members

IAMCP members are generally companies that obtain most of their revenue on the Microsoft platforms. Microsoft has a very limited set of managed partners in each country. Most of these managed partners are also IAMCP members and the rest of our members are generally the top non managed partners in a country.
Most of our member companies are services companies, providing systems integration, managed services and resale of Microsoft cloud services across all the Microsoft clouds

MEMBER BENEFITS

IAMCP provides the following benefits to its members:

  • Understanding the latest Microsoft strategy and how that strategy is being landed through the Microsoft organization, incentives and programs. This happens through events we directly organize with Microsoft or organize independently. Our members are close to Microsoft because of the direct exposure to key Microsoft employees through our connections and events.
  • Events and networking events. IAMCP organizes global, time zone based and local events. Most of these events have ample structured and non-structured networking opportunities.
  • PartnerToPartner (P2P) opportunities. Both through official partner opportunity groups and formal and informal networking.

What IAMCP specifically brings to its members is a deep and pragmatic understanding of Microsoft, helping members to understand where to focus in all the information overload that can occur by being in the Microsoft ecosystem.
